I am a New Zealander who made Malaysia his home in 1992. Time flies when you are having fun and fun is one of the reasons I shoot weddings! I started shooting weddings in Wellington New Zealand over 25 years ago, and have photographed many hundreds of weddings to date and the number of photographs I have edited runs into the hundreds of thousands. My philosophy when shooting weddings is this:
I SHOOT EVERY WEDDING AS THOUGH IT WERE MY OWN.
I understand it is your most important day EVER, therefore I bring the same dedication to it in the same way I would wish it to be covered as if I were the one getting married.
No tension, no drama.
Over the years this policy has served me well, and I have built an enviable reputation for affordable quality wedding photography. I get asked what my style is and you can probably tell from looking through the blog what it is but for those who want it by the numbers
I capture what I would want to remember if it were my wedding. We are unobtrusive, understanding it is your big day, not my “big shoot”. We are loads of fun to have around on the day and will make sure you enjoy it! My friendly easy going nature and un-paparazzi approach often means we get mistaken as friends of the family. This same attitude creates a bond between us and my couples. They know we consider them the most important people on the day and I have been told that our experience and professionalism often brings a calming influence to what can be a stressful day.
Many years from now, as you proudly show the photos to your children and grandchildren, you will remember the joy you had, the happiness that was shared, how you and your friends looked, and the smiles on your parents and grand parents happy faces. Some of you may remember that I did something more special for you than just “shoot” the day. You will realize I created an heirloom for your family to treasure.
