About Sarah Slavik Photography
I was incredibly fortunate to start my career as a freelance graphic designer in the late nineties in the Czech Republic creating clip-art and laying out books, magazines, cards, brochures, and advertisements. In 2003, I was introduced to wedding photography. From the first moment behind the viewfinder, I knew this was what I always wanted to do. It came naturally to me and I have been hooked ever since. When our family moved to the United States in 2004, I chose to build my professional career following my passion in wedding photography.
I love to put tremendous energy into every single assignment. I believe I have a fresh way of looking at weddings. I respect my photographic craft and traditions, but I have no fear in looking beyond them. Anything that makes a lasting memory from the most beautiful event is worth every effort.
