About Two & Quarter
Mark & Ally are Bermudian husband and wife photographers who tell Real Love Stories.
Our Real Love Story began in 2009. It was the classic tale of ‘girl starts a new job and meets a boy at work, and immediately falls for his sense of humour’ (he thought she was pretty cool, too). Except work was photographing HRH Queen Elizabeth II…so not an average Thursday. Inevitably, we would have met anyway (like, on Monday) but saying your relationship was set up by the Queen is way more exciting. We should really send her a thank-you note.
At Two & Quarter, we take photographs that are timeless, natural and authentic. Our goal is to illustrate your Real Love Story unobtrusively through a photojournalistic style, capturing candid moments and raw emotions as they unfold before us. We hope that our images will evoke exactly what you were feeling in a moment and transport you, because when all is said and done your photographs are what remain. We get that. And we take this responsibility very seriously - but we also love to have a good time with you. It’s our steadfast belief that if you’re having a good time it will reflect in your images - and this is when the best shots happen!
As self-proclaimed 'photodorks', our studio is home to our prized vintage camera collection guarded by our pit-bull rescue, Leica. When we're not working we love to travel with camera in hand, spend time on the water with the pup on board, and make art in our darkroom from good ol' fashioned film.
